•  Copy (PDF) of an issued Social Work Degree (BSW/MSW/Ph.D/DSW)
•  A cover letter highlighting at least 2 years of documented supervisory/leadership experience in human services; non-profit; higher education
•  A 500 word statement of the candidate’s work experience related to Leadership & Management
• Let an immediate supervisor complete the Certified Social Work Manager Supervisor Reference Form: https://mms.socialworkmanager.org/members/form.php?orgcode=NSWM&fid=8227405
• $50 initiation fee for members of national social work organizations (Eg: NASW; ACOSA). Pl note in application the name of the membership organization you are a part of) or if not a member of a social work organization: $150 initiation fee ($100 will be refunded if the Network denies the candidature)
• Upon review and approval, this year, the CSWM's can gain their CE through attending 1 of 2 specialized programs this year:
  • 4^th Annual Forward-Thinking Summit- Special 40th Anniversary Institute, September 18-20th (Virtual) 12-17 CEUS
  • Emerging Leaders Institute—(Virtual) 12 CEU's Dates: 4/11, 4/12, 5/2 and 5/9. 11-2 CT

      The Emerging Leaders Institute offers this tailored 12-hour Institute designed to meet the unique needs of new emerging leaders and experienced emerging leaders in nonprofit management. These immersive sessions provide practical tools, peer collaboration, and expert guidance to enhance leadership capabilities, strengthen strategic thinking, and navigate sector challenges effectively

                These workshops integrate psychological safety, emotional intelligence, and trauma-informed leadership, ensuring that participants develop technical leadership skills and also the ability to create safe, inclusive, and resilient workplaces.

• To maintain the CSWM credential, the candidate need to complete 12 CE hours or attend NSWM’s Annual Conference/Forward Thinking Summit every other year
